HALF DAY / DAY WALK – PITSTONE WINDMILL ASHRIDGE CIRCULAR

A 7-mile circular walk in Ashridge. Starting at the Bridgewater Monument then visiting Pitstone Windmill and Pitstone Hill before returning to the monument through the woods.Lovely views of the Chilterns, Vale of Aylesbury and rolling countryside.

There is an option to add on the 3-mile waymarked Foresters circular walk with views of the Bridgewater Monument and Ashridge House for those wishing to extend this to a day walk.

Meet: for a 9am start at the Bridgewater Monument, Ashridge Estate, Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire HP4 1LX. There is parking on Monument Drive near the monument but the car parks fill up early so you may need to park on the verge.
