
DAY WALK – WHITWELL CIRCULAR

A 9 mile circular walk from Whitwell heading north to Preston and Chapelfoot. The majority of the walk is on good tracks although walking boots would be advisable. There is a fair bit of woodland on the walk so there will be some protection if wet or windy.
Preston is described as the epitome of the English village in the guide book and the village is associated with John Bunyen. Please bring a drink and a packed lunch.
Option for a drink/tea/coffee at the pub after the walk.
Meet outside The Bull Inn, 34 High Street, Whitwell, Herts SG4 8AG at 10am for 10.15 start. Please do not park in the pub car park.
